Bassam Jalgha (Dozan team) Won The 1st place in Stars Of Science

AND THEY DID ITTTTTT !!! Bassam Jalgha along with his Dozan creative team members won the $300,000 1st prize at the finale of the first pan-arab scientific reality TV show Stars Of Science,Dozan beated Orsod project with a massive amount of votes approached 62% !!!

I really did vote for Dozan , and this was only my second time of voting for a reality TV competition because simply I was convinced !!

I know this post is too too too late... but it is better than nothing :)

One of the greatest reality TV shows in the Arab world by far !! I started watching it from the begining of this month, but I got the whole concept of it

A group of contestants from different regions of the arab world, each one of them has his own idea of a certain project that will be desgined and developed through the stages of this show along with assistance from experts and mentors..at the end the winner will receive a $300,000

& all I can tell that the ideas are TERRIFIC !! I really liked the Dozan project by a lebanese guy named Bassam Jalgha which is a machine that can tune your instrument (the strings) .. this project has created some sorta chaos online since there is a similar gadget .. but I can assure you it is utterly different..

my 2nd fav. project is by Sagr Al Fayz from KSA which is a portable scanner that translate english texts to arabic verbal sounds,designed for people who are blind or suffer from sight issues

The finale is this Friday on Future TV at 10 pm..and the two final projects that made it to the finale stage are :

1) Dozan

2)Orsod ( orsod is a project by Mohammed Orsod from Sudan ,it is an oil tester that can show you the quality of the oil you use )

Seriously don't miss it on friday .. it is gonna be the launch of both project,so lots of surprises ;)

One of my favourite tracks by the legendery and the master of oud Marcel Khalifeh,Popular Cafe from his album Caress ( along with his two sons Rami on piano,Bachar on percussions and Peter Herbert on double bass)

This track is very sophisticated, so refreshing, sweet, & incredibly close to who I am !!

I woke up this morning on an annoying phone call from an annoying and careless human,I was REALLY upset and grumpy in the morning ... but after listening to this track,I don't know what happened,I just felt very pleased...like literary happy !!

أنا من أشد أشد المعجبين بأعمال و شخصية مريد البرغوثي ... و ازداد شعوري أكثر بعد قرأة رأيت رام الله, من أروع الكتب التي يمكن أن أقرأها في حياتي,واقعي و ساخر جدا .. مضحك و محزن و مؤسف في الوقت ذاته !!! عليكم به :)

I dont know if you still remember this term very well,but when Satellites were really fay3een "popular" during the 90's along with video recorders,oh man we used to spend nights recording tv shows (esp those of LBC) and recording video clips,missing episodes of some tv series,even some famous arabic plays !!

I was young, I was around 7-9 years

I remember that dark brown cupboard near our house's door,it was full of recorded video tapes,some by my siblings and others borrowed from our cousins :) I remember *very well* those which were titled by Monawa3at and then followed by a date or a year or even an occassion !! and we used to play it over and over ..

Every time I put my hands on the keyboard to write whatever comes to my mind,I tend to feel distracted,bored,and uncertain what to write about !!!

I just can't push myself to write while nothing specific is on my mind ... or I can't express myself clearly

Anyhow,since I finished my finals which was a huge event :P nothing much happened,I was supposed to go with my family to Palestine to attend my cousin's wedding,but then I canceled the whole idea for me,and honestly I felt guilty but also content !!! guilty for taking such a mean and selfish decision of not going there (forget my uncles cousins etc) I am talking about Palestine itself,where I lived for 14 years.I didn't want to go because of the people over there !! yes khalayleh !!! (not gonna talk about this thing) I know its stupid to think like that,but I swear it really bothers me to deal with them ,at the same time I miss Palestine,I miss those tough times I had there,I miss the freshness of its air...and yet I dont know if I miss the place or the time !!

and since one of my sisters cant go to Palestine,she took advantage of me being here to take care of her 4 year old girl,every morning from 9 am till 6 pm,it is a very good experince indeed,because now I realise that it is better not to have kids at alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll,they're so demanding,annoying,and a big Big BIG responsibility

Anyways,one of the best things I did so far is watching the finale of the incredible Tv series everrr Lost !! OMG it was amazing,they left us as always excited,puzzled and hungry for more :( my brother's wife and I can't stop discussing it whenever we meet :P

.. well YESTERDAY I HAVE FINISHED MY FRESHMAN YEAR AT JU !!!!

Oh my God ! I swear I am so thrilled ( despite of that bloody Cross-cultural communication final exam ... OH BOY) ... and also I didn't take a summer course :) so I got a 4 month summer vacation this yeaaaaaaaar La la la la la laaaaa

Update : watching Spongebob (italian version) since today's afternoon for 2 reasons 1) the episodes are newer than those that Nickarabia shows 2)to enhance my italian since I am still a beginner,so watching cartoons will be a good step :P.
