" Dr Fosse said he had seen a number of patients with extensive injuries to their lower bodies. "It was as if they had stepped on a mine, but there was no shrapnel in the wounds," he said. "Some had lost their legs. It looked as though they had been sliced off. I have been to war zones for 30 years, but I have never seen such injuries before." Part of the motive for developing the bombs was to replace the use of depleted uranium, but Dr Fosse said the cancer risk from tungsten powde was well known. These alloys were found to cause neoplastic transformations of human osteoblast cells.A more recent U.S. Department of Health study in 2005 found that HMTA shrapnel rapidly induces rhabdomyosarcoma cancers in rats.The tungsten alloy carcinogenicity may be most closely related to the nickel content of the alloys used in weapons to date. The awful invasion in Gaza is not over yet,civilians will face countless tragedies,no houses no proper healthcare,no eduction,no FUTURE..what type of future is waiting those poor civilians of Gaza,their whole enviroment is polluted their water their soil,and absolutly that is gonna effect their health in the coming years,not to mention the huge number of wounded civilians by DIME or phosphoure,I wish arabs would "rehabilitate" the enviroment of Gaza strip instead of building towers and houses.Why enviroment? beacuse it is simply everything,If you have a polluted destroyed enviroment you will never ever get a good agriculture,or economics or even a good health,and when you think twice about it you will see that they are very connected together...... I just hope that our leaders are aware of this issue !!
